Upcoming junta-organized election senior officers down to low-level civilian staff have been secretly ordered to cast advance votes exclusively USDP party

Sources close to the military say senior officers down to low-level civilian staff within the armed forces have been secretly ordered to cast advance votes exclusively for the military-backed USDP party ahead of the upcoming junta-organized election.

According to informed sources, military generals, ministry officials, central organizations, regional and state governments, election commission members, and election workers are required to vote in advance between December 10 and December 27, and again from January 1 to January 10, 2026, as part of the election’s first and second phases.

In addition, civilians who are unable to vote on election day or are reportedly unwell are also instructed to cast advance ballots on December 26 and 27, and January 9 and 10, according to sources close to the Naypyidaw-based election body.

Sources further confirm that junta leader Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Deputy Commander-in-Chief Soe Win, and USDP Chairman Khin Yi have issued direct orders to ensure all advance and election-day votes go only to the USDP, while strictly monitoring and preventing votes for other parties.

“Advance voting is already allowed, and voters are being strictly instructed to cast their ballots only for the USDP. Orders have been issued to secretly monitor polling booths to ensure that no one votes for other parties or abstains from voting altogether. Officials have also been directed to apply pressure and intimidation to make sure that absolutely no one fails to vote,”a source close to the Naypyidaw-based Union Election Commission told Public Myanmar News.

Election officials are reportedly instructed to closely monitor polling locations, apply pressure, and ensure no one abstains from voting.

Advance voting has already begun in military-controlled areas, while reports indicate it has also started in some resistance-influenced regions, including parts of Sagaing Region.

Documents containing voting instructions favoring the military-backed party are reportedly being distributed to government offices nationwide.

အကြမ်းအာဏာသိမ်းစစ်တပ်က ဂျက်တိုက်လေယာဉ်တွေ၊ ဂျိုင်ရိုကော်ပတာတွေ၊ စက်တပ်လေထီး(ပါရာမော်တာ)တွေနဲ့ဒရုန်းတွေကိုအသုံးပြုပြီး နေ့ရောညပါမကျန် လေကြောင်းတိုက်ခိုက်မှုတွေကိုနေ့စဉ်ရက်ဆက်ပြုလုပ်လာတယ်လို့ ဝေဟင်စောင်ကြည့်နေတဲ့တော်လှန်ရေးသတင်းအရင်းအမြစ်တွေကပြောပါတယ်။

ဒါ့အပြင် အာဏာသိမ်းအကြမ်းဖက်စစ်တပ်ဟာ နိုဝင်ဘာလအတွင်း  စစ်ကိုင်းတိုင်းနေရာအနှံ့ကို လေကြောင်းတိုက်ခိုက်မှု ၄၂ ကြိမ် ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သလို ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ၅နှစ်နီးပါးမှာလည်းနိုင်ငံအနှံ့အရပ်သားပစ်မှတ်တွေကို လေကြောင်းတိုက်ခိုက်မှုအကြိမ် ၄၂၀၀ ကျော်ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ကာ အရပ်သားပြည်သူ ၄၄၇၀ ဦး သေဆုံးသွားခဲ့တယ်လို့ ဒီဇင်ဘာ ပထမအပတ်မှာ  NUG ကသတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ထားပါတယ်။

တနင်္သာရီတိုင်း ကော့သောင်းမြို့ နယ်မှာ  ဒီဇင်ဘာ (၉) ရက် မှ (၁၅) ရက်နေ့အတွင်း  မြို့နဲ့ အနီးတဝိုက်ကျေးရွာတွေက ဒေသခံ လူငယ်အမျိုးသား (၁၀၀) ကျော်ကိုအကြမ်းဖက်စစ်တပ်ရဲ့ အဓမ္မဖမ်းဆီးတာတွေရှိနေပါတယ်။

ည (၈) နာရီနောက်ပိုင်း လမ်းပေါ်မှာ တွေ့ရှိသမျှ လူငယ်တွေကို ဖမ်းဆီးသွားခဲ့သလို၊ ဧည့်စာရင်း စစ်ဆေးမယ်လို့ဆိုကာ နေအိမ်တွေအတွင်း ဝင်ရောက်ဖမ်းဆီးမှုတွေလည်း ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့တယ်လို့ဒေသခံတွေက လူထုမြန်မာကိုပြောပါတယ်။

ဖမ်းဆီးခံထားရတဲ့လူငယ်တွေကို ဒီဇင်ဘာလ (၁၅) ရက်နေ့မှာ ပုလောမြို့နယ် ပလောက်အခြေစိုက် အမှတ် (၁၂) တပ်မတော် လေ့ကျင့်ရေးသင်တန်းကျောင်းထံ ပို့ဆောင်ခံထားရတယ်လို့ ဖမ်းဆီးခံခဲ့ရသူတွေရဲ့မိသားစုဝင်တွေကပြောပါတယ်။

အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်အစိုးရရဲ့ အတုယောင်ရွေးကောက်ပွဲ နီးကပ်လာသည့်အချိန်နှင့်အမျှ ကော့သောင်းမြို့မှာ လုံခြုံရေး တင်းကြပ်ထားသလို  လူငယ်တွေကို ဆက်လက်ဖမ်းဆီးနေတာအပြင် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံမှ လွှဲပြောင်းပေးလာတဲ့ အထောက်အထားမဲ့ မြန်မာရွှေ့ပြောင်းလုပ်သားအမျိုးသားတွေကိုပါ စစ်မှုထမ်းသင်တန်းတက်ဖို့ စစ်ကော်မရှင်တပ်တွေက အတင်းအကြပ် ပို့ဆောင်နေတယ်လို့မြို့ခံတွေကပြောဆိုထားပါတယ်။

CDM Teacher Arrested in Southern Shan State Over Social Media Posts

A Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) schoolteacher was arrested in southern Shan State after allegedly sharing political content on Facebook, local sources said on Monday.

The teacher was detained on Dec. 19 at a market in Pin Phit village, Yatsauk Township, while selling goods. She is being held at a local detention facility, where she is under interrogation. Her family has not been able to contact her, the sources said.

A local resident said the arrest followed reports by informants that the teacher had shared political posts earlier this month. Authorities reportedly searched her mobile phone and found political-related content.

Separately, local sources said at least three other CDM teachers in the village may face arrest ahead of an upcoming election, after complaints were allegedly filed by non-CDM education staff.

Residents also reported increased activity by junta forces and allied Pa-O People’s Militia (PNO) in Yatsauk Township, including supply collection and recruitment.

CDMဆရာမကို ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၁၉ ရက်နေ့မှာ  ရပ်စောက်မြို့နယ်၊ ပင်ဖြစ်ကျေးရွာဈေးမှာ ဈေးရောင်းနေစဉ် ဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့ပြီး လက်ရှိမှာ  မြို့နယ်ရဲစခန်း အချုပ်ခန်းတစ်ခုမှထိန်းသိမ်းစစ်ဆေးလျက်နေကာ ဒီကနေ့အချိန်ထိဆက်သွယ်ပြတ်တောက်နေတယ်လို့ မိသားစုဝင်တွေကလူထုမြန်မာကိုပြောပါတယ်။

ဒေသခံတစ်ဦးကတော့ ဆရာမဟာ  အခုလအစောပိုင်းက နိုင်ငံရေးပို့စ်တွေ မျှဝေခဲ့တယ်လို့ သတင်းပေးတိုင်ကြားမှုတွေအပေါ် အခြေခံပြီး ဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့ကာ လက်ကိုင်မိုဘိုင်းဖုန်းကို စစ်ဆေးရာမှာ နိုင်ငံရေးနဲ့သက်ဆိုင်တဲ့ အကြောင်းအရာတွေကို အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်အုပ်စုဘက်ကသိရှိခဲ့တာလို့ဆိုပါတယ်။

ဒါ့အပြင်  လာမယ့် စစ်ကော်မရှင် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲမတိုင်ခင် Non-CDM ပညာရေးဝန်ထမ်းအချို့မှ တိုင်ကြားတာတွေကြောင့် ပင်ဖြစ်ကျေးရွာက အခြား CDM ဆရာမ သုံးဦးကိုပါ အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်အုပ်စုကဖမ်းဆီးနိုင်ခြေရှိနေတယ်လို့ဒေသခံတွေက ပြောပါတယ်။

ရပ်စောက်မြို့နယ်အတွင်း အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်ကော်မရှင်တပ်တွေနဲ့  ပအိုဝ်းပြည်သူ့စစ် (PNO) တို့ရဲ့ လှုပ်ရှားမှုတွေ တိုးလာသလို ရိက္ခာစုဆောင်းတာနှင့် လူသစ်စုဆောင်းတာတိုပိုမိုလုပ်လာတယ်လို့ ဒေသခံတွေကပြောဆိုထားပါတယ်။

မွန်ပြည်နယ်၊ ကျိုက်ထိုမြို့နယ်မှာ စစ်ကောင်စီတပ်ဖွဲ့တွေက လက်နက်ကြီးနဲ့ ပစ်ခတ်တိုက်ခိုက်မှု ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့တဲ့အတွက် အမျိုးသမီး ၂ ဦး ဒဏ်ရာရရှိပြီး နေအိမ် ၆ လုံး ပျက်စီးသွားခဲ့ပါတယ်။

လူ့အခွင့်အရေးဖောင်ဒေးရှင်း မွန်ဒေသ (HURFOM) ရဲ့ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်အရ  ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၁၆ ရက်နေ့မှာ သိမ်ဇရပ်မြို့နဲ့ ဝေါမြို့အခြေစိုက် စစ်ကော်မရှင်တပ်ရင်းတွေဟာ ကျိုက်ထိုမြို့နယ်၊ ခရွဲ ကျေးရွာအတွင်းကို ပစ်မှတ်ထားပြီး လက်နက်ကြီးနဲ့ အကြိမ်ကြိမ် ပစ်ခတ်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီပစ်ခတ်မှုကြောင့် အသက် ၅၆ နှစ်အရွယ် ဒေါ်ခင်ရွှေနဲ့ အသက် ၄၄ နှစ်အရွယ် ဒေါ်စံထွေးတို့ဟာ လက်နက်ကြီးပေါက်ကွဲမှုမှ ထွက်လာတဲ့ အစိတ်အပိုင်းတွေကြောင့် လက်၊ ကျောနဲ့ ခြေထောက်ပိုင်းတွေမှာ ဒဏ်ရာရရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။ဒဏ်ရာရသူနှစ်ဦးစလုံးကို အနီးအနားရှိ ဆေးရုံတစ်ရုံမှာ ဆေးကုသမှုခံယူနေရပြီး အသက်အန္တရာယ် မစိုးရိမ်ရတဲ့ အခြေအနေမှာ ရှိနေပါတယ်။ 

ဒေသခံတစ်ဦးက“တိုက်ပွဲမရှိပါဘူး။ စစ်ကောင်စီဘက်က တမင်ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး လက်နက်ကြီးပစ်ခတ်တာပါ။ အခုလိုပစ်ခတ်မှုတွေကြောင့် ရွာသားတွေကြောက်ရွံ့နေရပြီး အသက်ကြီးသူတွေက အနီးအနားဒေသတွေက ဆွေမျိုးအိမ်တွေကို ပြောင်းရွှေ့နေရပါတယ်” လို့ ပြောဆိုထားပါတယ်။

HURFOM ရဲ့ အချက်အလက်အရ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် ဇန်နဝါရီလကနေ နိုဝင်ဘာလအထိ ၁၁ လအတွင်း စစ်ကောင်စီရဲ့ လက်နက်ကြီးပစ်ခတ်မှုတွေကြောင့် မွန်ပြည်နယ်အတွင်း အရပ်သား ၇၄ ဦး သေဆုံးခဲ့ပြီး ၁၂၃ ဦး ဒဏ်ရာရရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။

International Court of Justice (ICJ) has announced hearings next January genocide committed against the Rohingya people

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has announced that it will resume hearings next January in the case concerning alleged genocide committed against the Rohingya people in Myanmar.

In an official statement released today, the ICJ confirmed it will hear the case brought by The Gambia against Myanmar from January 12 to January 29.

 The case accuses Myanmar’s military of committing genocide against Rohingya communities in Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships in Rakhine State.

The Gambia, supported by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), will present additional evidence from January 12 to 15. Myanmar’s military authorities are scheduled to respond and deny the allegations between January 16 and 20.

The court has allocated three days for witness hearings, which will be held behind closed doors, with no public or media access, according to the ICJ.

The case stems from the 2017 military operations that forced around 730,000 Rohingya to flee to neighboring Bangladesh. A UN fact-finding mission previously concluded that the actions may amount to genocide.

The case is filed under the 1948 Genocide Convention, with 11 countries, including Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, joining as supporting parties.

တောင်ကြီးမြို့နယ်အခွန်ဦးစီးဌာနမှူးဖြစ်တဲ့ဆန်းမြင့်ဦးဆိုသူဟာ စစ်ကော်မရှင်ကနေသတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့အခွန်နှုန်းထားတွေထက်အဆမတန်တောင်းဆိုတာအပြင် ချလန်ဖြတ်ပေးရတဲ့ ငွေကြေးပမာဏထက်ပိုမိုပေးဆောင်နေရတယ်လို့ တောင်ကြီးမြို့ခံအိမ်ခြံမြေရောင်းဝယ်သူတွေက လူထုမြန်မာကိုပြောပါတယ်။

“ သတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့အခွန်ပမာဏထက်ကိုပိုကောက်နေတာ၊ ပြောင်းလာတာ လပိုင်းပဲရှိသေးတယ်။ ဥပမာ ငွေကျပ်သိန်း ၁၅၀ တန်တဲ့ရွာခြံမြေတစ်ခုကို သူ့ဆီအခွန်သွားဆောင်ရင် သိန်း ၅၀ မရမကတောင်းတာ၊ အမှန်တကယ်က ၁၀ရာခိုင်နှုန်း ၁ သိန်းခွဲပဲဆောင်ရမယ်၊ချလန်မှာက အဲ့လောက်ပဲပြထားတာ၊  သူ့ဘာသာစိတ်မှန်းပြီးအတင်းတောင်းနေတာ‘’လို့ တောင်ကြီးမြို့ခံအိမ်ခြံမြေရောင်းဝယ်သူတစ်ဦးကပြောပါတယ်။

 တောင်ကြီးမြို့နယ်အနေနဲ့ နယ်မြေတည်ငြိမ်တယ့်အနေအထားတွေကြောင့် အိမ်ခြံမြေအရောင်းအဝယ်များလာနေသလို မြို့နယ်၊ခရိုင်၊ပြည်နယ်အဆင့် အခွန်ဌာနတွေဟာ အခွန်ရာဖြတ်နှုန်းတွေမမှန်မကန်တွက်ချက်ယူတာ၊ နှုတ်အားဖြင့် အခွန်နှုန်းသတ်မှတ်ခဲ့ရာမှာ ငွေကြေးပမာဏအနေဖြင့် ငွေကျပ် သိန်း ၅၀ ကနေ သိန်းတစ်ထောင်ကျော်အထိပေးနေရတယ်လို့ မြို့ခံတွေကဆိုပါတယ်။

 

အဲဒီငွေကြေးလာဘ်ယူပြုလုပ်နေမှုတွေဟာ အခွန်ရာဖြတ်နှုန်းအတိုင်း စစ်ကော်မရှင်ထံအခွန်ဆောင်ပေးတာမရှိသလို သူတို့ကိုယ်ကျိုးအတွက်အလွဲသုံးစားပြုလုပ်နေပြီး ငွေကြေးမပေးဆောင်နိုင်တဲ့သူတွေကိုလည်းနာမည်ပြောင်းလုပ်ဆောင်ဖို့ငြင်းဆိုခံနေကြရတယ်လို့ မြို့ခံဥပဒေအကျိုးဆောင်ရှေ့နေတွေကပြောပါတယ်။

“ အထက်(စစ်ကော်မရှင်)ကိုလည်းအခွန်မဆောင်ပေးဘူး၊ သူတို့တောင်းတဲ့ငွေကြေးမရရင်မလုပ်ပေးဘူးဆိုတဲ့သဘောပေါ့၊ နာမည်ပြောင်းချင်တဲ့မြို့ခံတွေမြေအရောင်းအဝယ်လုပ်တဲ့သူတွေဆိုရင်ငွေမပေးနိုင်ရင်မလုပ်ရဘူးသဘောဖြစ်နေပြီ၊ လုပ်ပိုင်ခွင့်အပေါ်ငွေကြေးအလွဲသုံးစားလုပ်နေကြတာ မြို့နယ်အခွန်ဦးစီးမှူးအသစ်ကပိုဆိုးတယ်”လို့ မြို့ခံရှေ့နေတစ်ဦးကပြောပါတယ်။

 

ငွေကြေးလာဘ်ပေးလာဘ်ယူအလွဲသုံးစားလုပ်နေတဲ့အပေါ်စစ်ကော်မရှင်လက်အောက်ခံ ပြည်နယ်အခွန်ဦးစီးဌာနဲ့ နေပြည်တော်ရှိအခွန်ဦးစီးဌာနရုံးချုပ်ထံ တိုင်တန်းမှုတွေပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ရက်ပိုင်းအတွင်းပြုလုပ်မဲ့ အတုအယောင်ရွေးကောက်ပွဲကြောင့် အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးပြကာ ငြင်းပယ်ခံနေရတယ်လို့ မြို့ခံတွေကပြောဆိုထားပါတယ်။
