A Scania Marcopolo Low Entry Bus officially resumed operations on the Sule-Dala route today, August 1st.

အချိန် (၅) နှစ်ကြာ ရပ်နားထားတဲ့ Scania Marcopolo Low Entry City Bus အမျိုးအစား ကားကြီးကို ဒီနေ့ ဩဂုတ်လ ၁ ရက်နေ့မှာ ဆူးလေ - ဒလ ဝန်ထမ်းအိမ်ရာ ယာဉ်လိုင်းမှာ ပြန်လည် ပြေးဆွဲပေးနေပြီ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Previously serving as BRT Lite and YBS 37, the bus is now operating on several Dala-Sule routes.

မူလက BRT Lite နဲ့ YBS 37 တို့မှာ တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့တဲ့ ဒီကားကြီးဟာ လက်ရှိမှာ ဆူးလေ - ဒလ ဝန်ထမ်းအိမ်ရာ၊ ကျောင်းရှေ့၊ ချယ်ရီသင်္ဘောဆိပ်နဲ့ ဒလ - တွံတေး လမ်းကြောင်းတွေမှာ ပြန်လည် ပြေးဆွဲပေးနေတာပါ။

Buses operate daily from 5-6 AM until 6-7 PM, with routes trackable on the YBS GO application.

နေ့စဉ် နံနက် ၅ နာရီမှ ညနေ ၇ နာရီအထိ ပြေးဆွဲပေးနေပြီး၊ လမ်းကြောင်း အသေးစိတ်ကိုတော့ YBS GO Application မှာ ဝင်ရောက် ကြည့်ရှုနိုင်တယ်လို့YRTAကနေအသိပေးထားပါတယ်။

A local commuter noted: "Because it's a Low Entry bus, it makes boarding much easier for the elderly and disabled."

Amid the flood disaster, Southwest Commander Brig-Gen Aung Kyaw Khaing met recruits for conscription batch 27 on Aug 1st.

  ရေဘေးဒုက္ခ ကြုံနေချိန်မှာပဲ မနေ့ ဩဂုတ်လ ၁ ရက်နေ့မှာ အနောက်တောင်တိုင်း စစ်ဌာနချုပ် တိုင်းမှူးက စစ်မှုထမ်း အမှတ်စဉ် (၂၇) သင်တန်းသားတွေကို ပုသိမ်မှာ တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ပါတယ်။

On July 30th, major embankment breaches in Laymyethna triggered severe floods across Ayeyarwady.

Delayed warnings left villagers with only two hours to evacuate, submerging over  2,000 homes and displacing  10,000 residents.

Civil rescue groups from Yangon and Mandalay are delivering emergency food and medical aid to flood victims.

Heavy rains caused major embankment breaches in Laymyethna and Thabaung on July 30th.

မိုးသည်းထန်စွာ ရွာသွန်းမှုကြောင့် ဧရာဝတီတိုင်း လေးမျက်နှာမြို့နယ်က မြစ်ကျိုးတာနဲ့ သာပေါင်းမြို့နယ်က ထိန်ငူတာတို့ ဇူလိုင်လ ၃၀ ရက် ညပိုင်းမှာ တာကျိုးပေါက်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

In Thabaung, a resident noted: "Thabaung's Htein Ngu embankment broke as well  although it happens annually, this year is the worst."

 သာပေါင်းမြို့နယ်မှာလည်း ထိန်ငူတာ ကျိုးပေါက်လို့ မြို့ပေါ် မြေနိမ့်ပိုင်းတွေ ရေမြုပ်နေပြီး အသက် ၄၀ ကျော်အရွယ် မြို့ခံတစ်ဦးက “လေးမျက်နှာမှာ တာကျိုးသွားတာ အသိတွေ ပြောပြလို့ သိရတယ်။ သာပေါင်းမှာလည်း ထိန်ငူတာကျိုးလို့ မြစ်ရေတွေ မြို့ထဲက မြေနိမ့်ပိုင်းနေရာတွေ ရေမြုပ်နေပါပြီ။ နှစ်တိုင်း ဖြစ်တာဆိုပေမဲ့ ဒီနှစ်ကတော့ အဆိုးဆုံး အခြေအနေနဲ့ကို ရင်ဆိုင်နေရတယ်” လို့ ပြောပါတယ်။

A farmer stated: "The paddy was planted just a month ago with the floodwaters, over 10,000 acres are likely to be lost."

 ဒါ့အပြင် လေးမျက်နှာ ဒေသခံ လယ်သမားတစ်ဦးကလည်း “လယ်တွေ စိုက်ပြီးတာ လပိုင်းပဲ ရှိသေးတယ်။ အခု မြစ်ရေဝင်တော့ အကုန်မြုပ်ကုန်ပြီ။ပျိုးတက်ခါစတွေဆိုတော့ ရေနစ်တာနဲ့ တော်တော်များများကို ဆုံးရှုံးဖို့က များတယ်။ ဧကနဲ့က တစ်သောင်းကျော်လောက်ကို ရှိနိုင်တယ်” လို့ ပြောပါတယ်။

 

Forced military conscription has driven young men away, severely obstructing flood relief operations.

 စစ်မှုထမ်းဖို့အတင်းအဓမ္မ ပေါ်တာဆွဲမှုတွေကြောင့် လူငယ်အမျိုးသားအင်အား မရှိသလောက် နည်းပါးနေလို့ သဘာဝဘေး ကူညီကယ်ဆယ်ရေး လုပ်ဆောင်ဖို့ အခက်အခဲတွေကြုံတွေ့နေရတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Rescue teams from Yangon, Mandalay, Hinthada, and Kyonpyaw are assisting war and flood-affected victims.

The Thailand’s kingdom is officially mourning the loss of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, who has passed away after a long illness.

လက်ရှိ ထိုင်းဘုရင်ကြီး မဟာဝိဇီရာလောင်ကွန်းရဲ့ သမီးတော်အကြီးဆုံးဖြစ်တဲ့ တော်ဝင်မင်းသမီးကြီး ဘာဂျရကီတီယာဗာ နာရင်ဒီရာဒီဗာဝတီဟာ ကာလရှည်ကြာ ဝေဒနာခံစားခဲ့ရပြီးနောက် နတ်ရွာစံ ကွယ်လွန်သွားခဲ့ပြီ ဖြစ်လို့ ထိုင်းတစ်နိုင်ငံလုံး ဝမ်းနည်းပူဆွေးနေကြရပါတယ်။

The Princess, affectionately known to the public as "Phra Ong Bha," had been receiving intensive care at Chulalongkorn Hospital since December 2022, after collapsing from a severe heart condition during a military dog training session.

Following her recent passing, the royal family has been performing sacred funeral rituals, known in Thai as "Phra Ratchapithi Song Bamphen Phra Ratchakuson Phra Sop," to honor the soul of the late princess.

Born on December 7, 1978, Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s life was defined not just by her royal title, but by her incredible intellect. She earned both a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Law (J.S.D.) from the prestigious Cornell University in the United States.

၁၉၇၈ ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၇ ရက်နေ့မှာ မွေးဖွားခဲ့တဲ့ မင်းသမီးကြီးရဲ့ ဘဝဇာတ်ကြောင်းဟာ တော်ဝင်အရှိန်အဝါတစ်ခုတည်းနဲ့တင် မဟုတ်ဘဲ အလွန်ထက်မြက်တဲ့ ပညာအရည်အချင်းတွေကြောင့်ပါ ထင်ရှားခဲ့တာပါ။ သူမဟာ အမေရိကန်နိုင်ငံက ကမ္ဘာကျော် ကော်နယ်တက္ကသိုလ်ကနေ ဥပဒေမဟာဘွဲ့နဲ့ ဥပဒေပညာပါရဂူ (ဒေါက်တာဘွဲ့) ကိုအထိ ဆွတ်ခူးခဲ့ပြီး တော်ဝင်မိသားစုထဲမှာ အတတ်ပညာအဆုံးခန်းတိုင် သင်ယူခဲ့တဲ့ စံပြအမျိုးသမီးတစ်ဦး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Driven by her legal background, she broke royal norms by working actively as a provincial prosecutor for many years, fighting for justice on the ground. She later took on high-profile roles, serving as the Thai Ambassador to Austria and reaching the rank of General in the Royal Security Command.

On the international stage, she became a powerful voice for human rights and prison reform. Through her "Kamlangjai" or Inspire project, she focused on improving the lives of pregnant inmates and their children inside prison walls.

Her dedication led to the creation of the United Nations "Bangkok Rules," which set global standards for the treatment of women prisoners. Because of this, she was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, fighting against violence toward women.

သူမရဲ့ စိုက်လိုက်မတ်မတ် ကြိုးပမ်းမှုတွေကြောင့်ပဲ ကုလသမဂ္ဂမှာ အမျိုးသမီးအကျဉ်းသားတွေအပေါ် ဆက်ဆံရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကမ္ဘာ့စံနှုန်းဖြစ်တဲ့ "ဘန်ကောက်စည်းမျဉ်းများ" (Bangkok Rules) ကို အောင်မြင်စွာ ဖော်ဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့်လည်း ကမ္ဘာ့ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အမျိုးသမီးများအဖွဲ့ (UN Women) ရဲ့ ချစ်ကြည်ရေးသံတမန်အဖြစ် ခန့်အပ်ခံရပြီး အမျိုးသမီးတွေအပေါ် အကြမ်းဖက်မှုပပျောက်ရေးအတွက် ရှေ့တန်းကနေ ရပ်တည်ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။

A video featuring a soldier who said he was forcibly recruited as a porter by Myanmar’s military junta has been widely circulating on social media.

မြန်မာစစ်အုပ်စုရဲ့ ပေါ်တာအဖြစ် အတင်းအကျပ် စုဆောင်းခံခဲ့ရတယ်လို့ ပြောဆိုထားတဲ့ တပ်သားတစ်ဦးရဲ့ ရုပ်သံဖိုင်ဟာ လူမှုကွန်ရက်စာမျက်နှာတွေမှာ ကျယ်ကျယ်ပြန့်ပြန့် ပျံ့နှံ့နေပါတယ်။

In the video, he talks about his experiences inside the military, including living conditions, food supplies, and fighting on the frontlines against resistance forces.

Myanmar’s military authorities activated the People’s Military Service Law in March 2024 and have continued military training programs across the country.

As of June 2026, the military has reportedly conducted up to the 26th training batch.

According to resistance groups, nearly 150,000 people have undergone military service training through those 26 batches.

The same sources say that more than 10,000 conscripts have been killed in clashes with resistance forces across the country.

အဲဒီစစ်မှုထမ်းတွေထဲက တစ်သောင်းကျော်ဟာ နိုင်ငံတဝှမ်းက တော်လှန်ရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့တွေနဲ့ ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့တဲ့ တိုက်ပွဲတွေအတွင်း သေဆုံးခဲ့တယ်လို့လည်း ဆိုထားပါတယ်။

They also report that around 1,000 soldiers have defected or surrendered to resistance groups.
