The Thailand’s kingdom is officially mourning the loss of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, who has passed away after a long illness.
လက်ရှိ ထိုင်းဘုရင်ကြီး မဟာဝိဇီရာလောင်ကွန်းရဲ့ သမီးတော်အကြီးဆုံးဖြစ်တဲ့ တော်ဝင်မင်းသမီးကြီး ဘာဂျရကီတီယာဗာ နာရင်ဒီရာဒီဗာဝတီဟာ ကာလရှည်ကြာ ဝေဒနာခံစားခဲ့ရပြီးနောက် နတ်ရွာစံ ကွယ်လွန်သွားခဲ့ပြီ ဖြစ်လို့ ထိုင်းတစ်နိုင်ငံလုံး ဝမ်းနည်းပူဆွေးနေကြရပါတယ်။
The Princess, affectionately known to the public as "Phra Ong Bha," had been receiving intensive care at Chulalongkorn Hospital since December 2022, after collapsing from a severe heart condition during a military dog training session.
ပြည်သူတွေက "ဖရာအုန်ဘာ" လို့ ချစ်စနိုးခေါ်ကြတဲ့ မင်းသမီးကြီးဟာ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ် ဒီဇင်ဘာလတုန်းက စစ်ခွေးလေ့ကျင့်ရေးကွင်းတစ်ခုမှာ နှလုံးရောဂါအခြေအနေကြောင့် ရုတ်တရက် သတိမေ့မြော လဲကျသွားခဲ့တာပါ။ ထိုအချိန်ကစပြီး စုဠာလင်္ကရဏဆေးရုံကြီးမှာ ဆေးဘက်ဆိုင်ရာ အထောက်အကူပြု စက်ပစ္စည်းတွေရဲ့ အကူအညီနဲ့ ၃ နှစ်ကျော်တိုင်တိုင် အထူးတလည် ဂရုတစိုက် အသည်းအသန် ကုသမှုခံယူခဲ့ရတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Following her recent passing, the royal family has been performing sacred funeral rituals, known in Thai as "Phra Ratchapithi Song Bamphen Phra Ratchakuson Phra Sop," to honor the soul of the late princess.

Born on December 7, 1978, Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s life was defined not just by her royal title, but by her incredible intellect. She earned both a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Law (J.S.D.) from the prestigious Cornell University in the United States.
၁၉၇၈ ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၇ ရက်နေ့မှာ မွေးဖွားခဲ့တဲ့ မင်းသမီးကြီးရဲ့ ဘဝဇာတ်ကြောင်းဟာ တော်ဝင်အရှိန်အဝါတစ်ခုတည်းနဲ့တင် မဟုတ်ဘဲ အလွန်ထက်မြက်တဲ့ ပညာအရည်အချင်းတွေကြောင့်ပါ ထင်ရှားခဲ့တာပါ။ သူမဟာ အမေရိကန်နိုင်ငံက ကမ္ဘာကျော် ကော်နယ်တက္ကသိုလ်ကနေ ဥပဒေမဟာဘွဲ့နဲ့ ဥပဒေပညာပါရဂူ (ဒေါက်တာဘွဲ့) ကိုအထိ ဆွတ်ခူးခဲ့ပြီး တော်ဝင်မိသားစုထဲမှာ အတတ်ပညာအဆုံးခန်းတိုင် သင်ယူခဲ့တဲ့ စံပြအမျိုးသမီးတစ်ဦး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
Driven by her legal background, she broke royal norms by working actively as a provincial prosecutor for many years, fighting for justice on the ground. She later took on high-profile roles, serving as the Thai Ambassador to Austria and reaching the rank of General in the Royal Security Command.
သူမဟာ ရရှိထားတဲ့ ဥပဒေပညာနဲ့အညီ အခွင့်ထူးခံတော်ဝင်စည်းဝိုင်းထဲကနေ ခွဲထွက်ပြီး၊ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံရဲ့ ပြည်နယ်အသီးသီးမှာ အစိုးရရှေ့နေတစ်ဦးအဖြစ် နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာ ရှေ့တန်းကနေ တရားဥပဒေစိုးမိုးရေးအတွက် အမှန်တကယ် လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ဩစတြီးယားနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ ထိုင်းသံအမတ်ကြီးအဖြစ် သံတမန်ရေးရာမှာ စွမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့သလို၊ တော်ဝင်ကိုယ်ရံတော်တပ်ဖွဲ့မှာလည်း ဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီးရာထူးအထိ တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

On the international stage, she became a powerful voice for human rights and prison reform. Through her "Kamlangjai" or Inspire project, she focused on improving the lives of pregnant inmates and their children inside prison walls.
နိုင်ငံတကာ မျက်နှာစာမှာတော့ မင်းသမီးကြီးဟာ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးနဲ့ အကျဉ်းထောင်ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲရေးအတွက် အားကိုးရတဲ့ အသံတစ်သံ ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ သူမရဲ့ "ကမ်လန်းဂျိုင်" (သို့မဟုတ်) Inspire လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ စီမံကိန်းကနေတစ်ဆင့် အကျဉ်းထောင်တွေထဲက ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်အမျိုးသမီး အကျဉ်းသားတွေနဲ့ ၎င်းတို့ရဲ့ ကလေးငယ်တွေ လူသားဆန်စွာ ရှင်သန်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် အထူးတလည် ကူညီပံ့ပိုးပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။
Her dedication led to the creation of the United Nations "Bangkok Rules," which set global standards for the treatment of women prisoners. Because of this, she was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, fighting against violence toward women.
သူမရဲ့ စိုက်လိုက်မတ်မတ် ကြိုးပမ်းမှုတွေကြောင့်ပဲ ကုလသမဂ္ဂမှာ အမျိုးသမီးအကျဉ်းသားတွေအပေါ် ဆက်ဆံရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကမ္ဘာ့စံနှုန်းဖြစ်တဲ့ "ဘန်ကောက်စည်းမျဉ်းများ" (Bangkok Rules) ကို အောင်မြင်စွာ ဖော်ဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့်လည်း ကမ္ဘာ့ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အမျိုးသမီးများအဖွဲ့ (UN Women) ရဲ့ ချစ်ကြည်ရေးသံတမန်အဖြစ် ခန့်အပ်ခံရပြီး အမျိုးသမီးတွေအပေါ် အကြမ်းဖက်မှုပပျောက်ရေးအတွက် ရှေ့တန်းကနေ ရပ်တည်ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။
Though she is no longer with us, her impact remains. The people of Thailand and the international community will remember her not just as a princess by blood, but as a true champion of justice and human dignity.
